Cal State LA receives $5 million NSF grant to create urban sustainability hub - 03/22/22
Cal State LA has been awarded $5 million from the National Science Foundation to develop an NSF CREST Center for Advancement toward Sustainable Urban Systems (CATSUS). CATSUS will focus on increasing diversity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through research and educational opportunities. This a five year grant that will allow CREST faculty and student fellows to advance research in sustainable energy and water resources for urban areas.
