Graduate Student Fellowship | Undergraduate Student Fellowship
Our programs at California State University, Los Angeles for graduate and undergraduate students in the sciences and engineering fields are offered to students who are interested in research in the broad field of energy and sustainability. Students will work with faculty in various fields, including chemistry, biology, geography, physics, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering, computer science and technology to conduct research on topics related to photovoltaics (solar cells), fuel cells, combustion, biofuels creation and characterization, carbon sequestration, and others. The research spans the range from computational to wet chemistry to field research, all under the direct mentorship of faculty.
The Graduate Student Fellowship is a year-round research fellowship. Students work with a faculty advisor to complete a thesis research project by the time they complete their graduate programs.
• Application Deadline: Applications are accepted on a continuous basis
• Time Commitment: 20 hours/week
• Supplies & Travel: Support for research supplies and travel
• Seminars: Enrollment in seminar courses is required
• Status: Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
